Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes what data the Alert app (developer: dimart) collects and how it is used.

No account required

The app does not require creating an account and does not ask for your name, email, or other personal information for basic use.

What data is processed

Watched regions. Regions you add to your watchlist are stored locally on your device (in an App Group shared between the app and its widget). To deliver push notifications, your device subscribes to the corresponding Firebase Cloud Messaging topics (e.g. “alert in region X, language uk”) — this happens anonymously, with no link to your name or an account.

Push notification tokens. Your Apple Push Notification token and Firebase Cloud Messaging token are used solely to deliver alert notifications to your device.

Purchase data. If you subscribe or make a one-time donation via “Support the Project”, payment is processed by Apple (StoreKit) and by Apphud, which we use to manage subscriptions. The developer never sees or stores your payment card details.

Advertising data (Google AdMob). Users who haven't subscribed or donated are shown banner ads via Google AdMob. AdMob may collect the device's advertising identifier and other technical data to serve ads. If you don't grant tracking permission (App Tracking Transparency), ads are shown without personalization based on activity in other apps.

Technical/diagnostic data. The app uses Firebase (Google) for push delivery, crash reporting (Crashlytics), and remote feature configuration (Remote Config).

Alert map. The “Map” tab loads map.ukrainealarm.com in an embedded browser — a third party governed by ukrainealarm.com's own privacy policy.

Who we share data with

We do not sell your data. Processing is handled by trusted third-party service providers: Google (Firebase, AdMob), Apple (StoreKit), and Apphud (subscription management) — each under their own privacy policy.

Your choices

Notifications can be turned off in the app's Settings at any time.
Ad tracking permission (ATT) can be changed in iOS Settings → Privacy → Tracking.
Deleting the app removes all locally stored data (watched regions, settings).

Children

The app is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always available on this page.
